Sculpture and painting are some of the oldest branches of art, and yet artists today keep producing fresh work. As a mixed-media sculptor and painter, I love the challenge of working with ancient materials to create new and provocative art. My lifelike, mounted leather sculptures contrast with my more modern oil paintings.
Even after more than 25 years, my leather art is always changing. There is a multitude of different sculpture techniques to choose, and the possibilities for expression are unlimited thanks to the form's malleability. It takes an incredible amount of time and effort to turn leather into a piece of art, but the results are well worth it.
